Thrift

For many years now, items donated to Thrift have been sold at the club’s Tag & Book Sales. The proceeds are donated to local charities chosen annually by the Philanthropy Committee. Donated clothing is sometimes, also, distributed to agencies who have a need.

Thrift volunteers meet regularly in the Carriage House to sort merchandise and price those items that are going to be sold.

Donations

Thrift welcomes the donation of slightly used women’s, men’s and children’s clothes, handbags, linens, common household items, china, silver, crystal, bric-a-brac, jewelry, artwork and toys. Thrift cannot accept computers, large sports equipment, furniture or televisions.

Where to Leave Donations

Donations can be left in the bin on the left side of the Carriage House. The Carriage House is located at the rear of the property.
