September 6, Literature: The Bard of Avon: Thomas Moretti associate professor of English at Iona University, will talk about William Shakespeare.

September 13, World Cultures & Travel: Sandra Levinson will present a program about Cuba.

September 14, Pottery: Tour of studio and demonstration of pottery wheel

September 20, Art: Masha Turchinksy, director and CEO of the Hudson River Museum, will present an illustrated program, “Hudson River Museum, Expanding The View.”

September 21: Food & Dining:  “The Jacques Pepin Foundation: Enriching Lives Through Culinary Training” with Jennifer Quigley Harris, membership director

September 27, Home & Garden: Stacey Cook, case manager for Scarsdale Edgemont Family Counseling Service, on “How to Create a Safe Home for Seniors.”

October 4, Music: Bob Arthurs will perform on the trumpet and Steve LaMattina on guitar.

October 11, Education: Nicole White, owner of Little Bear Environmental Co., will discuss the changing ecology of the Hudson River.

October 18, World Cultures & Travel: Demonstration of international dance

October 25, Food & Dining: Sweet, Nutty & Flakey: How to make baklava with Angela Salvarakis

November 8, Education: James Coll, professor of American history, will analyze the potential impact of pending US Supreme Court cases.

November 15, Literature: WCBS-TV news anchor and journalist Mary Calvi will discuss her novels about the first loves of Presidents George Washington and Teddy Roosevelt.

December 13, Education: NYS Senator Shelley B. Mayer, chair of the Committee on Education, will examine women’s issues before the legislature, education funding, and students’ COVID lag.  

January 10, Education: Steve Taylor, IT expert, will explore “What Will AI (Artificial Intelligence) and ChatGPT mean to you?”

January 17, Music: Lazlo Gardony, a jazz pianist and composer from Berklee College of Music and Harvard, will perform.

February 7, World Cultures & Travel: Carmen Wilantowicz, Maria Malpartida and Emma Pasqualini, new club members, will speak about their home country of Peru.

February 14, Education: Alison Park of the Junior League of Central Westchester and Teresa Vega will discuss the Witness Stone Project memorializing past residents of Wayside Cottage. 

February 21, Art: “Discovering Street Art.” Teacher and photographer Martin Merchant will focus on the history, meaning, and expressiveness of this art form. 

March 6, Music: Dr. John King of Hitchcock Presbyterian Church will discuss and demonstrate playing of the organ at the church, 6 Greenacres Ave., Scarsdale.

March 13, Education: Pat Raftery from the Westchester Historical Society will highlight its celebration of 150 years.

March 20, Home & Garden: Claire Paquin, founder and lead designer at Clean Design Partners, will review tips and tricks, do’s and don’ts of home decorating.

April 17, World Cultures & Travel: International fashion show and Travel Tales 

May 1, Food & Dining: The Glamorous Table: Six Centuries of Dining Treasures with Lorella Brocklesby

May 8, Education: Westchester County Executive George Latimer will address issues confronting Westchester County.

May 15, Literature: Barbara Josselsohn of Scarsdale, writing instructor and author of six novels, will discuss her characters, their challenges and stories.

May 29, Art: Artist Joel Ishkowitz will present “Goddesses, Angels and Icons of Inspiration” about coin designs for two currently active programs.
